  • Dressing in lightweight and loose-fitting clothes will help keep you cooler than layered and tight fighting clothing. Cotton is recommended. Lighter colored clothes are also recommended over dark colored clothing.

  • It might be time to change your bedding. Cotton sheets that are thread count of 200 - 400 are recommended to keep you cool.

  • Sticking your sheets in the freezer for a few minutes.

  • A cool shower before bed time will help cool your body down.

  • A frozen ( hot ) water battle will do wonders.

  • Turn down the AC or put ice cubes in front of a fan.

  • Ice packs or a wet towel dipped in cold water.

  • If you are going to be outside wear sunscreen, wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses.

  • Avoid the caffeine and alcohol. ( Yikes, I know, but you can do it )

  • Drink lots of water.
